Milton County...It's Time

Once there was a county just north of Atlanta called Milton County. In the middle of the Depression the citizens of Milton County could no longer afford to fund their county government. They merged with Fulton County to the south. Thus begins the tale of our present-day disenfranchisement. Back then the farmland north of the river was sparsely populated. The farmers paid little tax and received little in services. Times have changed and today North Fulton is one of the most rapidly developing areas in the US. Now we pay extremely high taxes. Only one thing remains the same; we receive little in county services. Every dollar paid by county residents outside of the Atlanta city limits returns only about 68 cents in local services. They just love us down in Atlanta. It's time to demand the representation we pay for. Milton County ... It's Time!
